I visited my mom in Tempe during the weekend. While I was there I managed to get in a 10 mile walk around the neighborhood. I started at 7 am and it took me a litttle over 2.5 hours to complete. The sun was very intense.
It was fun looking at houses here, because they are so different than the houses here in Texas. Most of the yards had a desert landscape which was interesting. I walked through two parks and followed a couple of trails. The shade of the trees along the path was quite nice.
I was happy to get in the 10 miles as preparation for the trip.
