Alex, Oliver and I are members of Troop 291 in Plano, Texas. Alex and Oliver are both Life Scouts. Alex is working on his Eagle project now, and Oliver has only a few more merit badges to go. I am an assistant Scoutmaster with the troop.
Our troop is sponsoring a crew to attend Philmont with Circle Ten Council. Our trip is planned June 24 - July 6. We have a little over 6 months to prepare for our adventure.

Welcome to our Philmont Adventure
We have signed up to go to Philmont in June of 2009 with our boy scout troop. For those of you who don't know about Philmont, it is one of the national high adventure camps that boy scouts can attend. It is located near Cimarron, New Mexico (NE corner) and includes 34 staffed camps and 55 trail camps to provide an unforgettable adventure in the high country along hundreds of miles of rugged, rocky trails.
